Sorry for the question, but can you give me some orientation on how to configure an OpenVPN?

Some Netgear routers (perhaps other models) have OpenVPN support built in (the R7000 is one). That's by far the easiest. Once configured, you run the OpenVPN client on the PC, and then you have full access to your home network - NAS, printers, other devices. The connection is encrypted with AES, and if it is in the router doesn't require opening any ports. I don't think there is an OpenVPN app for the RN104.
OwnCloud is similar to ReadyCloud - I haven't used it, so I don't if it has the same issues for you or not. There is a small charge from the app developer (and it is available on the RN104).
IMO, ReadyCloud still isn't there yet.

I am using a MacBook Pro and soon an iMac and also would like that my wife MBP could have access to the files also...
Nowadays only I have access and via browser... Really frustrating.
My router is one that the service provider lend - a Technicolor TC7300. For WiFi I use a Airport Extreme Router w/ 3TB.
Is there a possible way to configure an openVPN with this hardware?
Why is so dificult to access the files locally?
Is there a way I can connect cable and use it as an external drive? (Not the way it should be used but I really need access to those files)
Tks

I don't think so (though its hard to be certain without looking at the user manual)

It shouldn't be. Did you mean remotely? Locally you should just use finder.
