just received another email
"Access to the disk on channel (??) is producing I/O errors. Although the array is still redundant, please replace this drive as soon as possible, as it is likely to fail soon. [Thu Feb 9 11:02:49 EST 2012]"
What is going on here? I don’t have a desktop PC to verify the hard drive but it was working fine in my WHS 2 days ago with no issues and WHS monitors Hard drive integrity. My WHS dies because of the power supply which is proprietary with the vendor and case. So $100 new decent case with power supply wasn't worth it for an old pc when I could get another nas. So I don’t believe the hard drive is bad
