Netgear ReadyNas 214 What can I use the eSata port for ie Backups only or additional storage?
What can I use the ReadyNAS 214 external eSata port for?
ie is it for Backups only?
I would like to use it for additional storage above what I am currently using which is 4 - 4TB drives.

You should be able to use it to connect an external drive.
Though I think you'd be better off increasing the internal capacity (perhaps upgrading two of the drives to a larger size).
