New 314 > No permission to access user home folders

I just noticed there is also a /data folder with nothing in it so I figured put a symbolic link in there to the /datavol1/home folder but that made not difference.
Note that when in Windows Explorer I browse to the NAS by Host name or IP address, each user can see the Shares they are supposed to see, and access them. Each user can also see their private home folder there, but clicking in to it gives that network error. So it's there alright, just inaccessible.
One more observation, the home folder is owned by root, is that correct?
