It's a complete joke that the "admin" user cannot view the private home share folders of its users on Netgear ReadyNAS 312 running OS 6.0.6.
What is it? A complete joke.
I've just wasted 3 evenings of my life scouring the so called Netgear "support" pages and various forums only to finally stumble across this:

So... Now I have to risk losing data by transferring it to manually-created "private home shares" - oh, another evening's work - thanks.
Can I disable the auto private home shares? No.
Pretty UI, but weak functionality. Most displeased.
Correct me if I'm wrong, or just ignore me like you do with the majority of other posters on this page.
Where's the "dislike" button? :)
