From what I've learned so far, here is my 2c worth of advice:
- upgrading to 6.2 at the start is recommended (a number of issues with 6.1 have been addressed and additional functionality added, see release notes)
- downgrading from 6.2 to 6.1 is not possible after upgrading to 6.2
- enable SSH once the initial installation is complete (this will enable problem solving if something goes wrong later)
- If you decide to install addon apps, DO NOT uninstall any addon apps as this could disable the GUI / web admin (this bug is also present in 6.1, can be fixed using SSH or Remote Access)
