FYI, the Seagate drive passed the seatools short and long tests. The drive is working fine on my Windows 8.1 Pro PC. It just does not work well with the Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ RND-4000. I wonder if Netgear is going to offer anymore firmware update fixes to this NV+ v1 model that I bought a few years ago.
