New RN212 suddenly inaccessible
Installed a brand new ReadyNAS 3 days ago without problem. Checked today and I can ping it, but otherwise it's inaccessible (via SMB share and web admin). I found this 2015 post, https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/Forbidden-You-don-t-have-permission-to-access-admin-on-this/td-p/970827, saying unplug/replug, but even if that gets it going, that's no solution for an unprovoked loss of access. The new unit hasn't gone into production yet, but this would be a business interruption once it is. Any thoughts?

Which firmware are you running?
Which services are you running?
Do you have any apps installed?
Can you send in your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?- bvbbvbGuide
Since I'm remote and office is currently unattended, I can't power cycle the unit right now to, I would hope, regain access and send logs. I can tell you the unit is factory default config except I updated firmware to latest OS 6.... No apps installed, Running only SMB service so far. Everything looked and worked great until it disappeared. The last thing I did is run a backup job from the old ReadyNAS to move data to the new one. That job was in progress but did not complete.
