NEWBIE - Added new HDD now what???
Hi Guys,
Excuse my total lack of knowledge here, but I had my Ready NAS V2 running fine with a 2 TB hdd with all my movies and show's on it.....
It's been almost full for some time now so i added a New 3TB hdd yesterday.
I just put the disk straight in.....
I got an email saying:
new disk detected.... multiple disks have been added.... please do not remove
The another one saying:
New Data volume has been successfully created (Volume D)
Now in RAIDar it has a blue icon and it says booting..... been like this for a day now???
did i loose all my data that was on disk 1?????
PLEASE tell me I haven't :|
Either way..... what happens now?
Or what do i do now???
the blue icon isn't flashing its a solid blue icon.
all other icons are green
Do i just wait?
Any help would be great, Thanks
Dan.

- bdg20901AspirantDepending on the amount of data you have, the booting can take up to 72 hours. I would check the NAS device tomorrow morning to see what state it is in. You can reboot the device, or you can do a skip volume check to force the NAS to boot up in regular state.
