No able to see my music files with my AVR Marantz SR6008
Hi everybody,
I use my ReadyNAS NV since long time without any problem.
All my movies and music files are stored here and I use a Sonos system to play the music everywhere on my home
Now I just bought a new AVR (Marantz SR6008) with the network connection thinking to play my music also from my HT room but when I use the network connection the AVR see the NAS but not the FLAC files.
Do somebody has an idea what's wrong?
Thanks

- vandermerweMasterIs dlna active on the readynas?
- xeltrosApprenticeMy Denon AVR3312 don't see anything with higher bitrate than flac 24bit/96Khz, neither does my panasonic TV (don't ask me why, I always thought that compatibility was determined by encoding and CPU speed but it seems to be more than just that). The SR6008 seems to support 192Khz though (Flac HD 192/24 found here. But trying won't hurt I think.

Yes but was not selected the music share name.
It could be the reason?
Anyway now I can't try to see if works because yesterday night I selected to see the Sonos from the network device list and when I have selected one song from the sonos list the Network section of my Marantz don't work any more!
I am waiting to see how I can fix this now! - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserWhat firmware are you running?
- xeltrosApprenticeif the Marrantz has networking problems, it's more likely it comes from the amplifier than from the NAS. Did you try to reboot you Amplifier (unplugging power not just sleeping, I know my Yamaha amplifier does a difference, Denon don't).
Did you update the amplifier ?
Did you try to access the DLNA of the NAS from another device (let's say a TV, Blu-ray player.... with DLNA of course) ?
Did you check the cables ? A wrong RJ45 cable (not fully plugged or deteriorated ) can explain the loss of the connection. - ataiAspirantProblem solved!
I set up my NAS the DLNA on the correct way (the share name was not the one for the music files) and now everything work perfect
Many thanks to everybody for the support!
