No access despite reset

ok found the answer
for anyone else having this issue
after reset use;
admin
netgear1
netgear1 instead of password
(the latter is incorrect although it is on this page)

The link you have quoted above is for Readynas OS 6 (and relates to Raidator 5.3)
Your Duo V1 is probably running on Raidator 4.0

The Duo v1 can only run RAIDiator 4 and was replaced in our lineup back in 2011.
The last of the products that had the default password of 'netgear1' was discontinued back in 2013.
Most of the articles refer to newer products than what you have.
