No access from XP through CIFS

I'm having a similar problem with my ReadyNas Ultra 4, using firmware RAIDiator-x86, Version:4.2.19. Previously I could access all of my shares but within the last month I've done two things that may be causing the problem. I updated the Ultra from the 4.2.15 firmware to the current version and I updated XP with a lot of security updates. I'm not sure which update is causing the problem, but I believe it was the XP security updates.
I'm still looking for a solution to my problem, I'll post if I find anything.
