NTP always enabled ?
Hello,
In the time settings, I have ntp disabled, and it's configured manually. But, in system.log, I've got a looooot of this :
Aug 09 15:20:51 ReadyNAS_PRO4 connmand[1962]: ntp: time slew -0.016244 s
Aug 09 15:25:08 ReadyNAS_PRO4 connmand[1962]: ntp: time slew -0.016072 s
Aug 09 15:29:24 ReadyNAS_PRO4 connmand[1962]: ntp: time slew -0.016122 s
Aug 09 15:33:40 ReadyNAS_PRO4 connmand[1962]: ntp: time slew -0.016147 s
Aug 09 15:37:55 ReadyNAS_PRO4 connmand[1962]: ntp: time slew -0.016040 s
Aug 09 15:42:12 ReadyNAS_PRO4 connmand[1962]: ntp: time slew -0.016049 s
Like it's always synching or something ? Is there a way to totally disabling the ntp service ?
Thx you.
Even if you are not syncing the time with a time server the NAS still needs to keep track of time.

Which firmware are you running?
After disabling the time server syncing have you rebooted the NAS?- RootaxLuminary
Ah yes, sorry, I'm under 6.3.5. I know it's not supported on the Pro 4.
I've rebooted after disabling the ntp, and yes these messages are still happening. Honestly, I was searching an other thing in the system.log, and I found this "by accident". It's not a real problem, but I don't think it's normal either.
EDIT : Moreover, there is no ntp or ntpdate service showing if I do "service --status-all" right now...
