NV+ 4.1.10 upgrade failed
I have just had a similar problem to others on here after upgrading their NV+ to 4.1.10 - unit says 'Booting....' and then just hangs indefinitely with no sign of activity and cannot be seen RAIDar. ...
4.1.9 and 4.1.10 - Two flakey releases in a row beset with problems.
Quality control seems to have gone out the window here. I don't think that Netgear quite understand the importance of ensuring that the vault of people's digital assets has to be robust, not laden with features.
This is why my new NAS is an HP Microserver with the robust FreeNAS operating system on it. Sure, it doesn't quite yet have all the media streaming capabilities of RAIDiator but the core file storage and sharing capabilities are years ahead. And it's robust.
