NV+ 4.1.10 upgrade failed
I have just had a similar problem to others on here after upgrading their NV+ to 4.1.10 - unit says 'Booting....' and then just hangs indefinitely with no sign of activity and cannot be seen RAIDar. ...

I got the ReadyNAS NV back up and running this evening. I had to remove the 1 gig SODIMM and put the original 256 meg SODIMM back into the device. Once I swapped the RAM, the device came right up on 4.1.10. All of the data looks to be intact.
I then swapped the RAM and put the 1 gig SODIMM back in the unit; but, 4.1.10 will NOT boot up. So, I have put the 256 meg RAM back in. With the 1 gig SODIMM installed, the unit starts power on with a fast flash of the power button LED, then goes to a slow flash, and goes no further.
I suspect that Netgear has done something to the POST that is causing it to fail wtih anything other than the original SODIMM installed. The 1 gig SODIMM I installed has worked fine for the past 5 years. It's Kingston p/n KVR333SO/1GR
