I have the 516 with the same disks WDC WD4000F9YZ-09N20L0 (4TB) x6 running 4.1.8. My fan seems to run about 2100-2200 rpms to keep the drives cool. Although quieter than the Pro6 with six 2 TB 2003FYYS RE drives it seemed to have gone from 1200-1300 to 2100-2000 rpms when I added the last 3 drives. Is that your experience also.
