Sounds like a disk problem.
Try powering down the NAS and then test the disks in a Windows PC with vendor tools (Seatools for Seagate, Dashboard for Western Digital). Label the disks as you remove them. You can connect the disks to the PC using either SATA or a USB/SATA adapter or dock.
Do you have a backup of the data?
