ReadyNAS 214 - Not working after OS reinstall
Hi!
I am in trouble with my ReadyNAS 214.
Cannot log in / view the disks.
Situation
- I could not log-in after discontinuation of Ready cloud support.
- I tired Recover a lost admin passwd procedure (OS reinstallation)
- After OS reinstallation,
- my ReadyNAS seems to keep its machine name
- but it lost LAN connection -
- it shows "IP address" as BLANK in front screen
- my router (DHCP) doesn't show the ReadyNAS, either
- What I want to do is at least recover my files on the volumes (RAID-X)
Could anyone give advice for solving this?
Best,
I reset the router and now DHCP of LAN is working fine.
I am happily able to access my files.
Thanks to those who gave me advices!

If rebooting doesn't solve the DHCP problem, then try doing another OS reinstall.
There shouldn't have been any issue with accessing the NAS after Netgear shut down ReadyCloud, as the admin account is purely local. So it is possible that something else went wrong at about the same time.
Just to get clarity - you are saying you did the OS reinstall from the front panel? Or did you possibly try to do a USB recovery?
