OS6 - Snapshots for home directories?
I just read that snapshots are not supported for home directories, not sure why. So, what's a reasonable strategy then if i want to provide this obvious level of safety for my users?
With SSH you could delete the user's home folder, and then re-create it as a subvolume. But you would also need to browse the snapshots with ssh. So I think the obvious option is better.
However, even there you would need to browse the snapshots for them, unless you give everyone the admin password.
