permission denied when editing files and folders.

Just to rule out that it isnt an issue with the permissions set on the shares, go ahead and try the following:
Start by setting going to (SHARE=> SHARE LISTING=> CIFS ICON for appropriate Share) and select 'Automatically set permissions' and 'Do not allow acl...' with 'Read/Write' set for both 'Group Rights' and 'EveryOne Rights.' Then, under 'advanced options' for the share, set share folder owner to 'nobody' and share folder group to 'nogroup'. Then select 'Set ownership and permission for existing files...' and hit apply. Let me know if this works. Thanks.
