Hi. I have a RN2304. I have installed PHP, PhpMyAdmin and MySQL. Can someone please help me add or change the root password for MySQL.

I do not know how to use SSH or Putty etc etc.... Is there any other easier way via a database app or software. Im on a Mac.

  • Ok I solved it but following these steps:

It's just a warning to show that there is no password for the default user root. If you want to set password for root:

    1. Open phpmyadmin interface
    2. Click "Users" tab
    3. Select user "root"
    4. Edit Privileges
    5. Change password
