Please remove inactive volumes in order to use the disk
I’ve just added a fourth hard drive (all are 4TB WD drives) to my new 516. It’s configured in factory default X-RAID. I’m getting the message “Please remove inactive volumes in order to use the disk.”...
If you do check it before adding, be sure to delete the partitions off the disk before putting it in the NAS.
Creating a partition or even formatting it only will tell you it might not be bad which isn't much.
