Possible S3 backup solution for Duo

I have not heard of this process or the results, however editing your ReadyNAS system through SSH can cause serious issues and most likely will not be supported by Netgear is you cause an issue. Just something to keep in mind before attempting to try this suggestion.

This looks interesting. I'd like to hear the thoughts of mdgm, WhoCares?, Super_Pousin et al, on their thoughts on this.
Any issues you spot in that write up guys?- quickly_nowApprenticeThis chap has had more patience or success than I did.
I gave up on that approach, and installed instead the s3fs driver (you can google it) with all its various prerequisites, and have a basic command-line backup to Amazon that works. It's very slow over an ADSL line to actually do the backup. Incrementals from that point on using rsync are acceptable.
