Pro 6 Vbat voltage in enclosure out of spec
with my beloved Pro 6 the logs showing "System Vbat voltage in enclosure internal is out of spec (2.69 V)" this pop up 2 to 10 minutes is this a concern? how to fix?

I thnk it's DDB18, not DD818:
- labelvol1: DDB18
minvol1: 1.62
maxvol1: 1.98
It's a 1.8V source, which sounds like a memory voltage, though I have no idea what "DDB" stands for. And this is saying yours is too high.
Is the reported VBat still the same with the battery removed? I's expect a reading of zero if that really is battery voltage.

I believe this just means the CR2032 battery is failing.
There are some pictures here that might help you replace it: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/ReadyNAS-Pioneer-Pro-corrupt-flash-no-boot-menu/m-p/1184930/highlight/true#M121169

I'm not sure what Vbatt is. I don't think it's the actual battery, though. I bought a used NAS that had no battery at all, and I didn't initially realize it because there was no warning about it.

I googled, and was thinking it was related to this:

I don't have anything running OS4.2.x anymore, but the enclosure.db in 4.2.28 contains the following:
- labelvol8: VBAT
minvol8: 2.96
maxvol8: 3.6
Those seem to be limits more in tune with a 3.3V source than the 3.0V battery.
OS 6 doesn't have anything in the Pro6 configuration file that it labels "VBat". It does have an unlabeled "in8" monitor of 3.0V which has a lower limit of 2.7 and I suspect to be the same as "vol8" in 4.2.28, though the limits are different. I had a battery die on me while I was running OS6 on a ProBE (noted because the boot times were wrong) and didn't get a warning about that, either.
What warning do you get if you remove the battery completely? Other than the boot time being wrong, it should have no effect on unit operation.

thanks for the replies so far.
am using firmware 6.7.5
half an hour ago i opened up the case and reseat the battery.
so far the warning message has not appeared
fingers crossed
will update the status few hours later. may be the battery contacts came loose when the nas was movied.

now about 6 hours and it happens once
i just have to monitor the situation from now on
