Update:

I noticed the Pro uses RS232 instead of TTL, hence my USB 2 TTL adapter produced garbage in putty ;)

I ordered a RS232 adapter, along with a VGA breakout. Hope they'll arrive the day after tomorrow.

PS: it seems editing a post is not possible, hence this new message. Or am I looking in the wrong place for an 'Edit' option?

There should be a ... in the upper right of the post.

What options to you see when you click on that?

  Ah, apparently only the first post can't be edited.
  The list at the first post starts with "Mark as New", the second post with "Edit Reply".

    So the Pro is running OS6?
    
    If you install RAIDar 6.0 can you download the logs using that?
