Problem with Time Machine
Each time the backup is attempted I am getting an error message "Time Machine cannot use the backup disc because it can't be written to".
In Finder I see my shares on both AFP and CIFS. The files are accessible.
I relogged on to shares through Time Machine preferences and that seemed to go fine.
Not sure how to trouble shoot.
I am using 4.1.8 on the ReadyNas and Lion, and have had problems since upgrading to Lion. mgdm helped me get the shares reconnected in a prior post, and it worked fine for a few months. Many thanks

- Lambourne1AspirantI wasn’t backing up regularly and as soon as I did I lost something due to my own stupid fault. Back up drive saved my ass!!!
- sdavis81AspirantJust bumping this. Could use some help if anyone has ideas. I can still access my shares in Finder, I can't get TIme Machine to see the sparse bundle for some reason. it also says "Error 1" but don't know what that is.
