Problems printing with OS X Lion and 4.1.18 ***SOLVED***

Hi, I have been suffering from this issue as well since upgrading to Lion. My Canon iP6000D worked fine on the ReadyNAS Duo previously with Snow Leopard and still works fine from Windows 7 (on a PC). The tips above using either the GUI setup as a Windows printer, or CUPS, works to some degree. However with the Canon/Apple driver it hangs on "sending print data" and with the Gutenprint driver it prints but with massive distortion (everything is double sized, skewed, etc.)
Is this a printer driver problem or what? I tried the built-in and Gutenprint iP6600D drivers as well but no improvement.
