Process to 'migrate' 4.2.x disks from Ultra 2P to new 314
I've been searching on how to get the two X-RAID disks from my broken Ultra 2 Plus to a shiny new 314 box. mgdm has talked about migrating disks and booting 4.2.x. I have put in a brand new 3tb disk...
I am being told by a Netgear rep that I have to put the box into Secure diagnostics mode and that an engineer has to do it for me and I have to wait for him to contact me and have my old U2P disks ready.
Is that right? From other posts here, e.g.

it seems like it is supposed to be possible without having to contact support.
