Thing is, this is related to the network environment. DLNA devices aren't supposed to send excessively frequent discovery packets, so that's not the right solution. One user was able to fix it by disabling ICMP snooping on his switch, but I don't know what the issue is in every case. Unfortunately, we have never been able to reproduce it, and I've never seen it happen in any home environments that I have access to.
