Raid level Unknown - ReadyNAS 516
A friend/customer of mine did a firmware update in the weekend. After it rebooted it worked as per normal. You can read/write to the drive and use it normally and RAIDar report that all is OK. BUT wh...
I solved this. There were a couple of issues.
1. RAIDar was defaulting to Firefox and the latest firmware was not compatable with it. Another browser allowed access to the admin page.
2. When the RAID was originally setup there was another volume that was deleted. Once the new firmware was installed for some reason this volume with 0 size and no raid reappeared alone side the main volume. Once this "random" volume was deleted the unknown raid error message went away and all was good with the world.
