A month into working with support, I still have this same problem. So far I have:
The only interesting thing I noticed is that Negativenancy has 4 of the same exact drives (ReadyNAS NV v1 , Four Seagate ST31500341AS 1.5TB drives, RAIDiator 4.1.10). I wonder if the 4.1.10 update where drives over 2T no longer works also impacted compatibility with some 1.5T drives?
- Factory Reset
- Recopied firmware onto hard disks (4th light blinking thing)
- Put a single fresh drive in place and had it work fine
- used Seagate software on a separate computer to verify that the drives are not faulty
