NAS Full Warning
I updated my ready nas firmware about 3 days ago and tonight I received the warning email: "Less than 30% of volume media's capacity is free." Then 10 minutes later I get another warning: "Less than ...
Are you running AV? If so, this is a known issue with firmware ver. 6.6.1 and NetGEAR seems to be working on a fix. In the meantime, disable AV to avoid the warnings. My experience suggests that running defrag triggers the problem, so if you really, really need AV, avoid running defrag. I've just been running anti-virus scans from my computer, which is not perfect but does provide some piece of mind until the fix is released.

the upgrade 6.6.1 FW was really painful for everyone, Nerds from upstairs are cooking 6.7.0 release and 6.7.0_beta is running!

Any idea of when the new firmware release will go out? Checking each day.
I have no access to inside information. The reports are "soon" but I guess we'll all have to be patient together.
