I don't have a solution for you but here is my similar setup with six 1TB drives:
    Disk space: 2628 GB (73%) of 3593 GB used
    Additional 100 GB reserved for snapshots
    Configuration: RAID Level X-RAID2, 6 disks (with dual redundancy)
    Status: Redundant

Note that my setup is using dual redundancy.
