New ReadyNAS Duo user with slow Read/Write

You also may be seeing what others have been seeing over in another performance thread. I've done some fairly thorough testing and others have also confirmed that 4.1.8 FW release may have some issues that haven't been nailed down yet. If its an option for you, you might want to try to downgrade to 4.1.7 and see if your read performance increases while direct connected. I have a sneaky suspicion that it will improve dramatically.
