I'm doing this exact same expansion on a ReadyNAS NV+ V2.
It is running RAIDiator 5.3.11
I started with 4 2TiB WD Green WD20EARX drives and I am now replacing them, one at a time, with WD 3TiB Red WD30EFRX drives.
I originally bought these 4 drives for my ReadyNAS NV+ (V1) running RAIDiator 4.1.14, since it has also reach capacity and one of the drives has begun to mark sectors as bad.
After I finish with the NV+ V2, I intend to take those WD 2TiB drives and put them into the NV+ V1 system
Both systems have been very stable, with only the V1 needing a new power supply 2 years ago after being in service for 6 years. That's when I got the NV+ V2 to replace it and then I decided to repair it.
