NV+ v2 Won't Boot - Fast Flashing Backup Light Only

I have a ReadyNAS NV+ V2 that will not boot.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  I searched the forum but couldn't find an answer that worked.   Below is what I know and have tried.   Lights...

I created the USB flash drive as requested.  A screenshot of the drive contents and properties appears below so that you can confirm that I did it right.

 

I tried holding the backup button while powering on.  I also tried holding the reset button while powering on.  Neither changed the startup behavior.  The backup light is blinking quickly and the LCD is blank.

 

Any more suggestions will be appreciated.  Thank you, Michael.

    I think with the NAS in this state there is probably nothing more we can do.

     

    If you can't access the boot menu (even with the disks removed) and USB Boot Recovery doesn't work then I am out of ideas.
