Sorry it has taken so long to follow-up on this. I'm not sure of it is a coincidence or not but upgrading both the 526X and 314 to the current 6.7.14 firmware seems to have resolved the problem.
After upgrading, I reloaded the Access Key and recreated the DR shares. The first backup was done manually to see if they would complete. After that, I have had two days of automatic backup of the Snapshots so from my perspective, this issue is resolved for me.
I'm not sure I should mark this as resolved since others have joined the discussion with the same issue.
