This is a reply to both chirpa and a_burga_with_fries, and thanks for the help to both of you.
They haven't looked at it remotely yet, I'm betting that is going to be the next request.
Where does uTorrent store files by default? I have not yet configured the save location of uTorrent and did download something quite large (I did wonder about this). If this goes into root partition by default then that is terrible design.
If only I could get into it myself I'm sure I could easily find out if this is the case. I'm betting I can (I assume it would be boot into tech support mode then telnet in, unless telnet is enabled anyway without booting into tech support) but not sure if I'm allowed or if they will stop giving me support.
