Thank you StephenB for the response. Your questions is a good one and caused me to stop and think, especially now that I have had a day or so away from the issue. I guess somewhere in my mind, and limited skill with this, it seemed simpler and more straightforward to have the Windows login match the NV+ user name and password, similar to how we have been doing it all these years. Using the Windows Credential Manager was easy and, more importantly, worked; however having to go to each device and create somehow seemed like I was doing it wrong. Especially since my wife and I have three devices each and, we also have a general use desktop computer in a common area, with an extra-large screen, that everyone uses, but they each logon with their own username/account. I suppose I would have to create separate credentials on that computer under each user logon, no?
In the end, it isn’t really all that big of a deal, I think after a while I became more obsessed with figuring out what username and password I needed to enter into the NV+ to work with the Windows Microsoft Account. I also assumed others had experienced this issue and there would be something here in the forum, but I wasn’t able to find. I do appreciate your taking the time to clarify.
So, I have to know, given my example in the first post, what would I type into the NV+ as the user name when using a Microsoft Account?
Thanks again!
