I'd like to clarify. You have a PC connected via 100mb/s ethernet, and the NAS and a file server are connected via gigabit.
When you copy a file from the NAS to the server through the PC, you get 12 MB/s. Is that right?
And NAStester shows ~5 MB/s between that NAS and that same PC.
Is that correct?

Sorry for being bad on the description
My windows 10 desktop PC connects directly by 100mbit LAN to a Router, delivered by the internet provider
The router is connected to a Gigabit switch containing a number of units
On the gigabit switch I have the readynas Duo and a server I use for multimedia display
If I copy to the NAS from the desktop PC I get something like the report, but in general the transfer speed reported from total commander or windows is around 150-200 kbyte/s or less
If I copy from/to the multimedia server from the desktop PC I get 10-11 MB/s consistently
