Read and write to Readynas duo v1 under windows very slow
I migrated to windows 10 and for a while wondered why my videos were playing very slowly. Then started to look for Windows 10 improvements and have reinstalled network drivers etc. I connect to a...

Sorry for being bad on the description
My windows 10 desktop PC connects directly by 100mbit LAN to a Router, delivered by the internet provider
The router is connected to a Gigabit switch containing a number of units
On the gigabit switch I have the readynas Duo and a server I use for multimedia display
If I copy to the NAS from the desktop PC I get something like the report, but in general the transfer speed reported from total commander or windows is around 150-200 kbyte/s or less
If I copy from/to the multimedia server from the desktop PC I get 10-11 MB/s consistently

Can you do a test between the multimedia server and the duo?

The media server is windows 10 as well and network settings report 1GBit as the speed
A file transfer gets around 25mb/sec

25 MB/s is about right for a duo v1.
What happens if you shift the PC from the 100 mbit connection to the switch?

Sorry for the delay, had to get a 20 m cable
If I hook up the pc to the same GB switch I get 20 mb/s
I reestablished the old connection and tried for a longer file transfer to the media server, it consistently gives 11 mb, A funny byproduct: I did 2 transfers in parallel by coincidence, one from the NAS to my PC the other from my PC to the media server, the transfer speed from the NAS increased from a steady 200-400kbit / s (5 mins) to 2,5 mb/s until done
LoL this is ridiculous
