I'm glad you got the data off the disks. Try powering up the NAS without the disks, and see if RAIDar can find it.
It should discover it, and report a "no disks" status.
If that fails, there is likely something wrong with the chassis (though there's a chance it's the power brick).
If it succeeds, then a factory default is the right next step.

Try powering down the NAS and removing the disks (labeling by slot). Then power it up, and see if RAIDar finds it. It should discover it, and give you a "no disks" status.

Thank you for your fast reply, I will try it. If this works is it then possible to insert the disks again without any data loss?
