Ready NAS NV+ v2 ERR Could not properly extract

The OS on the flash was corrupt which is unusual for the NV+ v2. It's now fixed.

The error means that the flash is corrupt.
First check out this link and confirm that you have a v2: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/
The labels are confusing, so ignore them for a moment and review the article.

Hi.
Thanks for the reply. It is a V2 as noted in the subject. Front states V2 and the back panel match the V2 configuration provided in the link.

Ok. From the symptoms it sounds like you need to use a USB recovery procedure. Netgear documents that for most NAS models, but unfortunately not for yours.
I suggest contacting support. That might be covered by the 3-year warranty, but you might need to get per-incident support.
Perhaps wait a bit, and see if any netgear employees know of a KB article for USB recovery that I somehow missed (it is a holiday weekend in the US, so it might take longer than usual).
