ReadyDLNA patch for Sony Blu Ray Players
Hi,
The latest batch of firmware updates from Sony for their Blu Ray players is not liking the format of the XML coming out of ReadyDLNA/miniDLNA. A patch has been created for miniDLNA which fixes the issue and is available from here.
http://www.bayofrum.net/~crees/patches/minidlna-fix-sony-bdp-sx90.diff
I have verified that this patch will fix the issue on a ReadyNAS NV+ but my low level techy skills are not very good and the re-MAKEd file is 950k versus the original 200k, and only works on the version of system that I own.
Would someone like to recompile miniDLNA as an Add-On/upgrade using the above patch to make the lives of Sony users happier until such a time as it can be folded into the main ReadyDLNA release?

- sabahlAspirantHmmm, did I post this to the wrong forum or was it moved by a mod? This was meant to go into the Addons Request forum.

- ZaimAspirantFor anyone who's interested, Netgear finally released a addon which fixes this issue, I can now stream MKV's to my Sony Blu-ray player no problems what so ever.
- kullyraiTutorHi Zaim,
Can you confirm the addon, and where I can get it from?
Is it also compatible with the ReadyNAS Duo v2?
Thanks

Hi, I got it from netgear support, not sure if it is going to be compatible with the duo v2, might be worth you contacting support and linking this thread. - kullyraiTutorThanks Skywalker.
Is there also a link for the current version of ReadyDLNA, which is provided with the ReadyNAS shipped with radiator 5.3.7 (in case i need to revert back)
thanks
