ReadyDR Not Working
I had ReadyDR working fine and now it has stopped again.
I have a RN526X as my main server and a RN314 as a backup server. Both are running OS 6.6.0.
The RN526X is in a downstairs office and the 314 is in an upstairs office and powers up in the evening to do a backup (using Rsync) of the 526X and for the ReadyDR jobs.
To create the ReadyDR jobs I did the Key exchange from the 526 and imported it to the 314. I created several shares on the 314 (i.e. PicturesDR) and set up a ReadyDR job from the (Local) Pictures share on the 526 to the (Remote) PicturesDR share on the 314. I have confirmed that the IP address for both servers is correct.
When I try to manually run the ReadyDR job, the 526 shows the job ran (although it is almost instantanious) but nothing appears in the DR share on the 314.
I have deleted all of the ReadyDR jobs and recreated them. I have deleted the key and did a new key exchange and checked all the settings but it still doesn't work.
I feel like I am forgetting something, especially since I had this working one before but I can't find what I am doing wrong.
I should also mention that the regular Rsync backp job is running correctly so I know the two units are talking to each other. I also am not getting any error messages.
The 526 ReadyDR jobs all have a green dot next to them and say Idle and the Last backup only changes when I try to so do a manual ReadyDR (Start) but nothng happens and the History is blank.
Any help would be appreciated.
regards,
David

- dschwartzerLuminaryIt appears the DR jobs that I ran manually did run and complete. I am going to see if the jobs run on their own as scheduled and will report back tomorrow.
