Readynas 104 compatible with the WD Red PRO 10TB HDD (WDC WD101KFBX)?

Welcome to the Community!

Hard drives listed on the ReadyNAS HCL were tested by engineering and can be regarded as compatible. Just like on the Support page "we only list drives that have passed stringent disk qualification tests" and this model is a NAS purposed drive that i built to run with a NAS. So to answer your question, this drive is compatible.

But if you want to confirm by getting response from the members who have actually used it, then there are members who will share their insight ;)

Did you test it in a Windows PC with Lifeguard before you inserted it? Also, do you know if the disk was formatted or not?

  In essence, what StephenB is saying is that there is no reason that model of drive should not work, therefore you need to pursue reasons why that specific drive isn't working. "Doesn't work" is too general a description to make any recommendations.
