ReadyNAS 104 Cuts Out When Streaming Music

I have been using a ReadyNAS to stream music to my receiver for a number of years now, initially with the NV+ and now with the RN104. The receiver I was using up until a week ago was the Yamaha RX-V6...

Which protocol/app do you use to stream to the receiver? SMB? DLNA? Something else?

Thanks for the quick reply, mdgm.

 

As far as I'm aware, the only protocol available is DLNA. So that would be what I'm using.

    If you download the logs are there any clues in upnp-av.log?

      I'm not sure how to attach a file here, so following are the logs from upnp-av.log for the past few days. We have a shutdown timer on the NAS each day, but you'll see there were a few reboots during the day -- these are times when we rebooted the NAS to try to correct the cutting out.

        Also, I'm not sure if these were the factory defaults or if I set them up, but the IP settings on the NAS are: Static IPv4, DHCP IPv6.

         

        Should the IPv4 remain Static?
