hello StephenB and Sandshark,
I have tried old power adapter with new chassis and hard drives. I'w really surprised because this combo doesn't work properly but there is a litlle difference! Now, the chassis starts with the message welcome readynas storage but it stops after 5sec and not 2sec with the old chassis.... Why around 5 sec, i don't know.
For your information, i didn't change the hard drives bracket, i suppose there is no link with my problem.
Now it stays one activity: using SATA to USB adapter i have mentionned before with all the disks. I don't know if i have to start with disk 1 or 2 or 3 or 4?!
When the NAS boots, does it star by the disk 1 or another one? Maybe the disk one is dead and it's why the NAS cannot start correctly?!
An idea before i try?
My SATA to USB adapter gets also a power adpater. Maybe using one disk, it will crash as the new one did on the New chassis.....

hello,
I have checked disks 1 by 1 with Sata to USB adapter. All disks starts properly. No electrical issue during the check.
all the disks are OK using seatool from seagate. No error message.
I have also used rs raid retrieve software which is new for me. Below, kind of informations it gives. On the four disks i have this screen. The software find 15244 files for each disks tested. There is one difference i don't understand. On the first disk, image below, you can see 3 disks on matrices RAID but when i analyzed the 3 other disks rs raid retrieve found 4 disks !!
rs raid retrive exploring the disk i don't find my files for example pictures or films etc

Did you run the full test? Or just the rapid one?

There are multiple RAID arrays on the disks. You appear to be looking at the OS partition (a 4 gb volume), and not the data volume.
Data offload with RAID recovery software will require that you connect all the disks to the PC, not just one at a time.
Aslo it will require that you use recovery software that supports the BTRFS file system. The OS partition is EXT, but the data volume is BTRFS.

Or have a place where you can store images of each.

Just to be sure there is no language issue here: When you say the NAS "stops" after some period, you mean that it completely shuts down -- fans off, etc. Correct? That's the way I've been interpreting your posts.

Hello Sandshark,
I try again just right now:
i plug the power adapter and it starts automatically. no need to press the power button. The message welcome readynas storage appears.
5sec after, i thought it shut down but no, in fact, the message welcome readynas storage disappears, 1 sec after, i guess it retry to restart again with the message and after 5 sec, the message disappears and it try to restart again.
It does 3 or 4 times and it shuts down. I unplug the power adapter.
During "the start tentatives", no fan activity.
Thanks for your help
