glooz1​ - this is quite possible.  If you have mixed size drives, the 4 TB drives will have 4 partitions, and there will be four RAID groups on them

1. OS
2. Swap
3. 3 TB data RAID group
4. 1 TB data RAID group

The 3 TB drives would not have the fourth data RAID group.

Of course this does depend on what the RS software is telling you.  Sandshark​ is thinking that it is NOT telling you how many disks are in the RAID group you selected.  Instead he is thinking that it IS telling you how many RAID groups are on the disk you selected.
