Readynas 204 + WD Live
Hello, Just purchased and set up a Readynas 204 to replace an old pc I was using to stream from.
Everything set up easy and copied all my media over to the nas.
My one problem seems to be streaming from the nas to my WD Live box. Movies or shows will play
fine for about 50-60 minutes, then picture goes black and the video exits after a shot time.
Using smb, and network shares on the wd live
You might try 6.4.1 beta (https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-Beta-Release/ReadyNASOS-6-4-1-T21-Beta-1/m-p/999457#U999457)
You can downgrade back to 6.4.0 if that creates any issues.

What firmware are you running?
Is disk spindown enabled?
- Firmware is 6.4.0 spindown is not enabled
You might try 6.4.1 beta (https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-Beta-Release/ReadyNASOS-6-4-1-T21-Beta-1/m-p/999457#U999457)
You can downgrade back to 6.4.0 if that creates any issues.
